The Challenge
Working with Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council, we developed film content designed to promote Solihull as a destination for major esports events and investment. Filmed around the RLCS 2025 Birmingham Major at BP Pulse Live Arena, the project combined high-energy event coverage with interviews, behind-the-scenes material, graphics and wider destination footage.
The Method
The films were designed to showcase not only the excitement and scale of live esports, but also Solihull's wider infrastructure, connectivity, technology sector, visitor offer and ability to host large international events. The creative approach combined vibrant cinematography, aerial footage, contributor interviews and motion graphics to communicate key statistics and messages in an engaging, fast-paced style. The project was developed for both business-to-business and consumer audiences, with a longer case study exploring the experience of staging an esports event in Solihull alongside shorter promotional films designed to attract event organisers, visitors and fans.
What We Delivered
A suite of flexible content for websites, presentations and social channels, including overview films, a longer case study and short social cutdowns. Content helping position Solihull as an inclusive, connected and ambitious destination for the growing esports sector.
